The small chips along the top of the spine go across the top of the word THE, cutting off the very tip tops of the letter THE. See Picture. Housed in a handsome clam shell case of 1/4 dark blue leather over a copy of the front cover. The spine has 5 raised bands, 2 red leather labels with gilt decorations and lettering. Nice.
